Wondering what you are going to do with your family for Father’s Day in Toronto? Here are some great activities to check out with Dad.
Beaches BBQ and Brew Festival
Taking place in the Toronto Beaches, Beaches BBQ and Brew Festival is always a big hit with our family. The festival takes place June 13th and 15th with a performance on Sunday (Father’s Day) by Canadian band Big Sugar at 4:20pm. Entry to the event and concerts are free. Find entire entertainment lineup here.
On Sunday, the festival runs from noon until 8:00 pm. You can treat dad to a variety of ribs, pulled pork, barbeque chicken and craft beer. I highly recommend arriving extremely early to get any of the limited parking in the area or simply taking the TTC.
A good tip is to invest in an Express Access Pass for Dad. At a cost of $30, the pass entitles you to 1/2 rack of ribs and 2 sides from any vendor, 2 beverage tickets and the key element front of the line service from any vendor. You will spend $30 on food and beverages anyway, why make Dad stand in line on his special day?

In true Yorkville style, you and Dad can walk the red carpet while checking out some of the world’s most desired cars. Bloor Street West in downtown Toronto will be closed to traffic between Bay Street and Avenue Road to allow families to stroll through the exhibition of over 120 exotic cars. The Yorkville Exotic Car Show includes Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Corvettes, Porsches and more. The festival takes place from noon until 5:00 pm and admission is free.
